Job summary

Henderson Group seeks a Director of Business Development to drive growth from a remote Seattle-area base. The role targets Fortune 1000 clients and demands a proven B2B sales track record with a stable career history.

You will identify accounts, craft entry strategies, lead prospecting, build executive relationships, and partner with experts to deliver solutions that meet clients’ objectives. Compensation includes a base salary of $140K plus commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
Clear history of new business development selling professional services.
Large volume sales experience ($250k plus per sale).
Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to twelve months).
History of career stability with a maximum of jobs 4 in the last ten years.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying potential accounts, developing an account entry strategy, conducting the prospecting campaign, developing relationships and understanding the customer’s critical business strategies, then working with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute a solution to achieve the customer’s business objectives.
