Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead the Lab that turns research into AI security systems deployed on endpoint and cloud platforms. You will set strategy, hire leaders, and own delivery of high‑impact cyber defense capabilities.

You will nurture a culture of ownership, rigor and technical excellence, guiding multi‑team engineers and researchers to ship production grade AI security solutions while aligning with company goals and executive expectations.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in CS/CE/EE/Applied Math; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in software engineering, ML or security engineering, incl. 8+ years managing teams and 4+ years leading managers.
• Proven track record building AI and security systems in production.
• Executive-level communication and strategic planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class organization.
• Hire, lead and grow a multi-team organization of engineering managers, principal engineers and researchers.
• Set the engineering strategy and roadmap, define OKRs, and manage resource allocation.
• Deliver frontier AI on endpoint and cloud, balancing latency, memory and cost requirements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Falcon engineering, product mgmt and threat intel.
