Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead the Frontier AI Security Lab, turning research into real-world cybersecurity systems on endpoints and in the cloud. You will guide multi-team engineering managers, researchers and architects to deliver trustworthy, scalable AI defenses that protect customers at scale.

You will shape the technical strategy, hire exceptional leaders, drive cross-functional alignment, and report progress to executives, while maintaining a strict focus on

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software or security engineering.
• 8+ years managing engineering or applied research teams.
• Proven track record shipping AI/security systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class multi-team organization of engineers and researchers.
• Define the Lab's multi-year AI security strategy and roadmap; set OKRs and invest resources.
• Deliver frontier AI on endpoints with low latency and power budgets; integrate with sensor telemetry.
• Deliver AI at cloud scale with streaming detection, inference and scalable model serving.
• Drive production-ready autonomous defense capabilities and closed-loop remediation.
• Turn research into production capabilities within the Falcon platform and ensure governance.
