Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead a world-class Lab that turns frontier AI research into practical AI security systems deployed on endpoints and in the cloud.

You will guide a team of engineers and researchers, shaping strategy, architecture, and delivery for high-impact security solutions. You will drive multi-year roadmaps, hire exceptional leaders, manage budgets, and ensure production readiness of autonomous defense capabilities while collaborating with Falcon

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive industry experience in software engineering or security engineering
• 8+ years managing engineering or applied research teams
• 4+ years leading managers across multiple teams
• Experience delivering AI or ML security systems in production

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class organization of engineering managers, principal engineers and researchers
• Define multi-year technical strategy and roadmap for the Lab's AI security systems
• Deliver frontier AI on endpoint and cloud-scale platforms with low latency and high reliability
• Drive production adoption of autonomous defense and agentic systems
• Represent CrowdStrike externally and align Lab work with company strategy
• Set benchmarks and evaluation practices for security efficacy and latency
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Falcon engineering, product management and threat intelligence
• Communicate strategy, progress and risks to senior executives
