CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead an organization translating Lab research into AI security systems deployed on endpoint and in the cloud. You will guide engineers and researchers to move frontier models from prototype to production, balancing latency, reliability and cost.

You will define strategy, recruit leaders, set OKRs, and communicate with executives. This role demands deep security and AI expertise, strong people management, and the ability to partner across

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive industry experience in software engineering, machine learning or security engineering.
• 8+ years managing engineering or applied research teams and 4+ years leading managers across multiple teams.
• Track record of leading architecture, delivery and operation of AI/security systems in production.
• Experience building AI/security systems for endpoint or cloud-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class organization of engineering managers, principal engineers and researchers.
• Define multi-year technical strategy for the Lab's AI security systems with clear OKRs and budgets.
• Deliver frontier AI on endpoint with latency, memory and power constraints.
• Deliver AI at cloud scale with streaming detection, inference and efficient serving.
• Drive production of agentic systems that investigate, hunt and validate detections with closed-loop remediation.
