Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead the Lab that turns research into AI security systems in production across the Falcon sensor and cloud.

You will guide multi-team leaders, set strategy, and own delivery of high-impact AI security capabilities for customers. The role requires 15+ years in software/ML/security, 8+ years of managing engineering teams, and strong executive communication to align with CrowdStrike's strategy and customers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field; 15+ years in software engineering, ML or security engineering.
• 8+ years managing engineering or applied research teams and 4+ years leading managers across multiple teams.
• Concrete experience delivering AI and security systems in production, on endpoint or cloud scale.
• Strong command of modern AI, including LLMs and agentic architectures.
• Security domain expertise in detection, response, threat hunting or automation.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and drive strategy with executive influence.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class organization.
• Define multi-year technical strategy and OKRs for the Lab.
• Deliver frontier AI on the endpoint with low latency and power budgets.
• Deliver AI at cloud scale with scalable detection and model serving.
• Turn research into production capabilities on the Falcon platform.
