CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead the Lab that translates research into real-world AI security systems. You will guide teams of engineers and researchers delivering on-endpoint and cloud-scale capabilities with tight latency and power budgets.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field. 15+ years software/ML/security exp.
• 8+ years managing engineering or applied research teams; 4+ years leading managers across multiple teams.
• Concrete experience building AI and security systems in production (endpoint or cloud).
• Technical depth in modern AI (LLMs, agentic architectures, RLHF).
• Security domain expertise (detection, response, threat hunting, malware analysis, adversary tradecraft).
• Systems at scale: distributed systems, high-throughput data, GPU inference stacks.
• Executive influence: ability to set direction and present to senior executives.

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Lab AI security systems.
• Deliver frontier AI on the endpoint with latency, memory and power budgets.
• Deliver AI at cloud scale with streaming detection and model serving.
• Take autonomous defense to production with agentic systems.
• Turn research into capability for Falcon platform.
• Set benchmarks and evaluation practices for security efficacy and trust.
• Lead across CrowdStrike and align with tech strategy.
• Communicate strategy, progress, risks and opportunities to executives.
• Represent CrowdStrike externally with frontier AI labs and partners.
