Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will oversee the quality, safety, inventory, and service while ensuring adherence to menus, regulations, and HCSG policies.

The role emphasizes team leadership, staff development, recordkeeping, and coordination with clients, residents, and administrators. It requires strong food service management experience and a commitment to infection control and dining excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state law).
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days and FSM/LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment with HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; fill in roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers to HCSG staff effectively.
• Ensure sanitary environment and report equipment needs or malfunctions promptly.
• Uphold infection control, universal precautions, and handwashing procedures.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with staff, residents, and guests.
