Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will oversee food quality, inventory, safety, and customer service, ensuring compliance with menus and regulations while delivering outstanding resident experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision of staff, and the ability to manage records and reporting using HCSG software.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• CDM certification preferred; must obtain FPM within 14 days and FSM/LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the food service program for the site, ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel and equipment using HCSG software.
• Train staff, conduct quality control, and perform duties of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff clearly.
