Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles and equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

You will diagnose engines, transmissions, HVAC, electrical systems, and related components, while documenting work orders and mentoring junior technicians. CDL is preferred but not required, and advanced ASE or EPA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• 2-year school plus 4 years of experience OR 5 years of fleet maintenance repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform annual/FAI/CVI inspections per regulations.
• Repair and diagnose engines, transmissions, and related systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work on work orders.
• Mentor Fleet Technicians to develop skills and responsibilities.
• May supervise when Fleet Manager is unavailable.
