Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our transportation fleet. You will diagnose and fix engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

The role requires strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety, and the ability to work on tractors, trailers, and related equipment on a 2nd/3rd shift schedule with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• 2-year technical training or equivalent experience in fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within planned tolerances.
• Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and refrigerations systems.
• Follow work orders and document all procedures performed.
• Mentor junior Fleet Technicians and assist supervisors when needed.
