Sysco Foods is seeking a skilled mobile/fleet technician to perform preventive maintenance and expert diagnostics on a diverse fleet. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, performing annual safety checks, and diagnosing issues across engines, transmissions, electrical, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to regulatory standards, with a shift-based schedule and on-site work at facilities.

Formación

• 2-year technical training in medium/heavy duty trucks plus 1 year experience, or 3 years fleet maintenance/repair experience.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Perform annual FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles per regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair to manufacturer specifications (engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, HVAC, lift-gate systems).
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups in a timely, efficient manner.
