Job summary

Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Senior DFT Engineer to lead test architecture and implementation for complex SoCs. This remote role spans the US, collaborating with design and verification teams to drive DFT from RTL to silicon bring-up and ensure high fault coverage.

The candidate will specialize in Scan, MBIST, Boundary Scan, and IJTAG networks, with strong experience in Verilog/SystemVerilog and scripting. A BS/MS in EE or CE is required, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven industry experience in ASIC DFT engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with IEEE 1687 (IJTAG) architecture and PDL formats.
• Proficiency with Tessent tool suite for DFT verification and test insertion.
• Solid simulation, verification, and debug skills with Xcelium, VCS, or QuestaSim.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and verify DFT structures (Scan, MBIST, Boundary Scan) for next-generation ASIC/SoC designs.
• Develop and integrate IJTAG networks across IP and SoC levels.
• Perform test insertion, ATPG generation, and fault coverage analysis.
• Run and debug zero-delay and timing-annotated gate-level simulations.
