Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Senior DFT Engineer to lead test architecture for complex SoCs, collaborating with design and verification teams from RTL through silicon bring-up.

You will architect DFT structures (Scan, MBIST, Boundary Scan) and IJTAG networks, perform ATPG and rigorous fault coverage analyses, and run timing-annotated gate-level simulations. This remote role offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ASIC DFT engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on IJTAG (IEEE 1687) knowledge with ICL/PDL formats.
• Proficient in Tessent tool suite for DFT workflows.
• Solid Verilog/SystemVerilog and scripting (Tcl, Python, Perl).
• BS/MS in EE/CE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and verify DFT structures for ASIC/SoC designs.
• Develop and integrate IJTAG networks across IP and SoC levels.
• Perform test insertion, ATPG generation, and fault coverage analysis.
• Run and debug gate-level simulations with timing annotations.
