Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior DevSecOps & Integration Engineer for a 100% remote role supporting a large VA healthcare modernization project. You will lead cloud platform engineering, deployment automation, security implementation, and operational readiness for the TAG initiative.

Build and maintain a secure, scalable Azure cloud platform enabling enterprise integration and data exchange, while promoting modern DevSecOps across the SDLC with engineers, architects, and cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• 5+ years designing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and deployment automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools.
• Expertise in Azure services, DevOps, monitoring, and secure cloud operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to lead DevSecOps initiatives in regulated federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure apps, data services, and integrations.
• Automate deployments for Azure Data Factory, Databricks notebooks, APIs using IaC.
• Build secure cloud architectures with authentication, encryption, and secure connectivity.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, backups, DR, and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to promote secure DevOps.
