Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior DevSecOps & Integration Engineer to lead cloud platform engineering and deployment automation for a federal healthcare modernization project. This remote role focuses on building a secure, scalable Azure environment and promoting DevSecOps across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in DevOps/cloud engineering, strong Azure expertise, and a passion for secure, compliant production cloud operations within regulated federal settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field with 8+ years in DevOps/cloud/infra engineering.
• 5+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and deployment automation.
• Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions (Terraform, Bicep) and Azure DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-team communication skills across engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based apps, data services, and infra.
• Automate deployment for Azure Data Factory, Databricks notebooks, APIs, and cloud resources via IaC.
• Implement secure cloud architectures including authentication, encryption, and certificate management.
• Configure enterprise monitoring, logging, backups, DR procedures, and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues; perform root-cause analyses and drive platform reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to promote secure cloud practices.
