Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a 100% remote role to support a federal healthcare modernization project. You will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable .NET APIs bridging CRM systems with enterprise databases, while migrating legacy .NET Framework services to .NET Core.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building RESTful APIs with C# and ASP.NET Web API, implementing secure authentication, and delivering enterprise integrations in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Advanced experience developing RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Secure authentication/authorization with OAuth, JWT, or similar protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, API deployment, Azure API Management, and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core with secure authentication.
• Develop and deploy API solutions through automated CI/CD pipelines and publish services using Azure API Management.
• Create and execute unit, integration, and functional tests for .NET APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend, data teams, architects, and QA to define API designs and integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve coding efficiency and software delivery in Agile settings.
• Take on additional tasks to support project success.
