Job summary

Cresta is seeking a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to be the technical voice of our AI agent platform in the developer and partner community. This hybrid role blends software engineering, storytelling, and community building as you teach, test, and ship real AI agents.

The role targets deep technical work in a enterprise setting with open-source tools, open collaboration, and active community engagement. Located in the Bay Area with a strong focus on hands-on agent building.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as software/ML engineer or developer advocate with hands-on coding.
• Experience building and testing AI agents: LLMs, prompt engineering, function calling, RAG.
• Able to read/write integration code (APIs, webhooks, CRMs).
• Strong developer content track record: blogs, tutorials, videos.

Responsibilities

• Create technical content teaching developers to build AI agents on Cresta.
• Build and maintain sample apps, code snippets, and reference integrations.
• Plan and run workshops for developers and partners (virtual/in-person).
• Represent Cresta at conferences, meetups, and partner events.
• Feed back developer insights to Product and Engineering with actionable details.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align messaging.
• Improve onboarding and first-build experience with guides and sandboxes.
• Stay hands-on with agent building, testing, prompting, and evaluation.
