Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to lead a dispersed development team and drive hands-on AI system design. The role emphasizes building production-grade Conversational AI and agent orchestration with Bedrock, Lambda, and other AWS services.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in multi-agent workflows, prompt engineering, and secure AI deployments, while delivering reliable, scalable AI agents for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Conversational AI & Agentic AI platforms are required.
• Experience with AWS Lex or equivalent deterministic bot.
• Hands-on experience with Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore.
• Proficiency in AI agent orchestration and multi-agent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development team across onshore and offshore.
• Hands-on development, design and architecture based on client requirements.
• Support QA and UAT teams.
