Job summary

Cresta is hiring a Principal Solutions Engineer, AI Agent to serve as the dedicated expert on Cresta's AI Agent technology. You will engage early in the sales cycle, design use cases, guide API discovery, and lead high‑stakes demos in partnership with Core SEs.

You will build ROI-driven business cases and collaborate with Forward Deployed PMs to ensure smooth handoffs and post‑sale learning. Remote-friendly with strong customer‑facing excellence.

Qualifications

• Five years in a customer-facing technical role, with 3–5 years in pre‑sales to large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, or selling AI Agents or agentic AI systems.
• Practical understanding of APIs and integration patterns in enterprise systems.
• Experience with Conversational AI, contact center platforms, or voice/chat automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Be the AI Agent expert and accelerate opportunity velocity in early sales stages.
• Collaborate with Core SEs, owning the AI Agent technical narrative end-to-end.
• Lead AI Agent workshops to explore use cases and define implementation scope.
• Own use case and API discovery, evaluating integration requirements and feasibility.
• Support high-stakes AI Agent demos with the Core SE team.
• Qualify and shape AI Agent deals early, bringing depth to the technical conversation.
• Build business cases with Sales Directors to translate solutions into ROI.
