Job summary

Cresta is seeking a senior software engineer to help build real-time AI agent infrastructure and a serverless-style function platform. You will own distributed sessions, multi-channel support, and the developer experience, shipping with observability and robust testing.

You’ll work across Python and Go, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tech, collaborating with a global team to deliver scalable solutions and fast iterations in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with focus on infrastructure, platform, or systems.
• Strong Python and Go—core to this role.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems: consistency, fault tolerance, state management.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience building developer-facing tooling: CLIs, SDKs, local dev environments, or internal platforms.
• Strong communicator who can drive technical decisions and mentor others.
• High bar for code quality with thorough testing and code reviews.
• Comfort with on-call, incident response, and production ownership.
• AI-native workflow—actively using LLMs and AI-assisted tools.
