Job summary

Cresta is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer, AI Agent, to lead the technical narrative of our AI Agent opportunities across enterprise accounts. You will collaborate with Core SEs, run discovery workshops, own use-case and API discovery, and support high-stakes demos while shaping our roadmap.

You will build ROI models with sales leaders, translate technical depth into business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and help elevate AI Agent fluency across the SE

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, with 1–3 years in pre-sales selling to large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, or selling AI Agents or agentic AI systems.
• Familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, and how enterprise systems connect to AI Agent workflows.
• Experience with Conversational AI, contact center platforms, or voice/chat automation technologies.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be the AI Agent expert and credible technical resource for opportunities.
• Collaborate with Core SEs to own the AI Agent technical narrative.
• Lead AI Agent workshops to explore use cases and define implementation scope.
• Own use case and API discovery, evaluating integration requirements.
• Support high-stakes AI Agent demos in partnership with Core SEs.
• Engage early in opportunities to shape deals and bring depth to technical discussions.
• Build the business case with ROI models and collaborate with Sales Directors.
• Partner with FDX to ensure smooth handoff from pre-sale to deployment.
• Contribute to product feedback and elevate AI Agent fluency across the SE org.
