Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an onsite contract role in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will install, update, and repair PC hardware, provide professional-level phone support, and maintain desktop solutions to support business needs.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, asset inventory, remote imaging, and end-user setup for Windows and macOS, with experience in Exchange/Gmail and enterprise applications. Onsite in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware and connectivity remotely.
- Familiar with Exchange and Gmail mailbox setup and management.
- Willingness to work onsite and in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and replace laptop and PC hardware.
- Perform hardware upgrades and asset inventory.
- Log, prioritize, and troubleshoot all calls and tickets.
- Provide first/second level support for desktop and enterprise apps.
- Build and deploy new workstations and perform software upgrades.
