Job summary

Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide advanced desktop support across multiple offices. You’ll handle imaging, provisioning, software maintenance, and secure access for end users in a large multi-user environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field and at least three years of experience in IT support, including on-site and remote work.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of professional IT experience including on-site and remote desktop support.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Equivalency may substitute education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier II/III desktop support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, VPN, and DHHS applications.
• Configure and maintain hardware/software per IT standards.
• Respond to incidents via the county helpdesk ticketing system.
• Set up devices for new hires, imaging, profiles, and access provisioning.
• Assist with hardware inventory and asset management.
• Support audio/visual setups for meetings and events.
