Job summary

Governor's Office of Information Technology is seeking a Desktop Senior Technical Analyst to deliver Tier II/III desktop support for state employees, contractors, and other users. The role leads technical work, evaluates and implements imaging, and ensures policy-aligned deployments.

Responsibilities include resolving OS issues, deploying computers, and assisting Security, Server, Network teams as needed. A pre-employment check and relocation within Colorado may be required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, including previous experience in a professional service desk or desktop support environment.
• Education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis; training or certification related to the work assigned will be credited toward substitution.
• Experience deploying and supporting Windows desktop OS, SCCM experience, and strong communication to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II and III desktop support to a diverse user base.
• Deploy new or rebuilt computers per policy and security requirements.
• Perform CM tool platform installations and imaging.
• Support desktop, laptop, and tablet users with Microsoft, Adobe, and other software.
• Log incidents in the ticketing system and assist other IT teams as needed.
