Job summary

Bridgehead IT is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Specialist III to serve as a senior technical resource within the support team, delivering advanced troubleshooting, mentoring junior staff, and supporting desktop infrastructure deployments.

The role is ticket-driven and includes participation in an on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed, with responsibilities spanning remote and on-site client environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

5–7+ years in desktop or technical support, enterprise or MSP preferred.
Strong Windows 10/11, M365, and desktop mgmt tools expertise.
AD, GP, DNS/DHCP, and basic networking knowledge.
Proficient with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Experience with MDT/Autopilot deployment tools.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level desktop support for hardware, software, OS, and peripherals.
Serve as escalation point for Desktop Support Specialists I and II.
Troubleshoot Windows, Office 365, VPN, and endpoint security issues.
Lead workstation deployments, refreshes, and small-scale projects.
Build and maintain deployment images and processes.
Support client environments remotely and on-site with minimal disruption.
Manage tickets with documentation, time entries, and timely resolution.
Contribute to knowledge base, procedures, and cross-team projects.
Coordinate with Network/Server/Cloud/Security teams on tickets.
Assist onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, and equipment config.
Support endpoint compliance, patch management, and antivirus/EDR.
Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours coverage.
