Job summary

Serco is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the U.S. Navy CNIC N6 program, based out of Naples, Italy.

The role involves handling network issues, telecom services, SIPRNet/NIPRNet accounts, and VTC endpoints, with emphasis on security policy implementation and site surveys. Qualified candidates will hold a DoD Secret clearance and a high school diploma or higher, with extensive relevant experience or higher degrees.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• 8+ years of relevant tech support experience; or 6+ with Associates; 4+ with BA; 2+ with MS.
• Must have DoD IT 8570 II level certs (Security+, CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network and domain user trouble calls.
• Support activation or reactivation of telecom services.
• Troubleshoot user domain accounts (SIPRNet/NIPRNet) and related forms.
• Install and maintain SIPRNet/NIPRNet, video teleconferencing endpoints, and telephony.
• Assist in security policy testing and site surveys for user domain computing platforms.
