Job summary

Serco is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support Navy CNIC N6 programs from Naples, Italy. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a high school diploma with extensive IT and telecom support experience.

You will manage user trouble calls, activate telecom services, support SIPR/NIPR accounts, and assist with VTC and secure communications infrastructure. Travel up to 10% and passport required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; or combinations with higher degrees.
• DoD IT 8570 Level II compliant certification required (Security+, CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Valid U.S. Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network or domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Troubleshoot user domain accounts including SIPRNet/NIPRNet accounts.
• Support SIPRNet/NIPRNet, data encryptors, VTC endpoints, and video conferencing.
• Install and upgrade cable infrastructure and VoSIP telephones.
• Assist in securing user computing platforms and printers/fax devices.
• Perform site surveys and cost estimates; provide procurement input.
• Train users on system capabilities as required.
