Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the United States Navy CNIC N6 program from Naples, Italy. You will manage user trouble calls, activate telecom services, and support SIPRNet/NIPRNet environments and VTC endpoints.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 8+ years of related experience (or equivalent degrees). Travel up to 10% and a DoD 8570 Level II certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Or an Associates Degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Or a BA Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Or a Masters Degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Must have DoD 8570 Level II compliant certification
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Travel up to 10%
• Valid U.S Passport

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network and/or domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Troubleshoot user domain accounts including SIPRNet/NIPRNet accounts.
• Support SIPRNet, NIPRNet and telephone drops implementations and upgrades.
• Assist with data encryptors deployment and maintenance.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot VTC endpoints and provide user support.
• Maintain cable infrastructure (fiber, copper, pathways).
• Install and upgrade VoSIP telephones and related tech.
• Support domain-connected user computing platforms and peripherals.
• Train users on system requirements and procedures.
