Job summary

Serco is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the U.S. Navy CNIC N6 program, based in Naples, Italy. The role focuses on network and user support across SIPRNet/NIPRNet, telecom services, VTC, and secure computing platforms.

Candidates must hold a DoD Secret clearance, be a U.S. citizen, and have at least 8 years of relevant experience (or an eligible degree path). A DoD 8570 Level II certification and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience (or eligible degree path).
• DoD 8570 Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CAP, CISSP, CISM, CISA) required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Valid U.S. Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network and domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Create, recreate and troubleshoot user domain accounts (SIPRNet/NIPRNet).
• Support SIPRNet/NIPRNet and telephone drops installation and upgrades.
• Support data encryptors installation, maintenance and upgrades.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade VTC endpoints and provide user support.
• Install and upgrade cable infrastructure (fiber/copper).
• Install, setup, and upgrade VoSIP phones.
• Assist with provisioning and troubleshooting printers, scanners, and fax machines.
• Assist in applying security policies to user computing platforms.
• Conduct site surveys and determine requirements for user domains.
• Develop cost estimates for user requirements and procurement."
• Train users on systems as required.
