Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the U.S. Navy CNIC N6 program, based out of Naples, Italy. The role focuses on resolving network and telecom issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring secure IT operations for SIPRNet/NIPRNet environments.

Required are an active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a relevant degree or years of experience. Travel up to 10% may be involved, and the candidate must be able to obtain DoD-approved certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required for access to SIPRNet/NIPRNet.
• US citizenship required for project work.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network or domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Troubleshoot user domain accounts and SIPRNet/NIPRNet access.
• Support installation and upgrades of SIPRNet/NIPRNet, and VoSIP.
• Assist in security policy testing and enforcement.
