Serco Inc. is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the U.S. Navy and CNIC N6 program for the U.S.

6th Fleet, based out of Naples, Italy. The role requires maintaining security clearances and providing end-user IT support, including SIPRNet/NIPRNet access, VTC, and telephony services. The candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot computing platforms, printers, and security policy implementations, with occasional travel and passport requirements.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Or an Associates/Bachelor/Master degree with fewer years of experience as indicated.
• DoD 8570 Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, CISA).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve network and domain user trouble calls.
• Activate or reactivate telecom services.
• Assist with user domain accounts (SIPRNet/NIPRNet) and related forms.
• Support SIPRNet, NIPRNet, and telephone drops installation and upgrades.
• Assist with data encryptors deployment and maintenance.
• Set up and troubleshoot VTC endpoints and meetings.
• Install and maintain network cabling and telephony (VoSIP).
• Support domain-connected computing platforms and office peripherals.
• Assist in security policy testing and implementation.
• Conduct site surveys and cost estimates for user requirements.
• Train users on systems as required.
