Southern New Hampshire University seeks a Data Security Engineer to implement and improve security controls across the enterprise data estate, including Fabric, Databricks, and Azure SQL. This hands-on role focuses on encryption, access controls, data masking, and secure data pipelines, reporting to the Deputy CISO.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related discipline.
• 7+ years in information security, cloud engineering, database or data engineering; 2+ years in data protection or database security.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain data protection controls across enterprise data estate.
• Operate encryption controls for data at rest and in transit; manage keys and CMKs.
• Enforce least-privilege access models and conduct entitlement reviews.
• Harden security configurations for data platforms and integration technologies.
• Automate deployment, assessment, and compliance validation via scripting and IaC.
