Job summary

Coursera is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for the Enterprise CX team in a globally distributed, remote-friendly environment. You will extract actionable insights from data, drive revenue growth, and improve churn and retention through predictive modeling and end-to-end analytics.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, build data pipelines, and contribute to KPI development while leveraging SQL, Python, and BI tools to deliver impactful data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with a focus on data science or statistics.
• 3–5 years of relevant data science experience and demonstrated business impact.
• Proficiency in statistics, practical machine learning, causal inference, and experimentation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data pipelines (dbt, Airflow).

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses to diagnose metric shifts and uncover trends.
• Develop practical predictive models to inform Customer Success workflows.
• Apply causal inference and experimentation to evaluate initiatives’ impact.
• Build and modify data pipelines and dashboards to unblock analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tell data stories that drive retention and upsell.
