Job summary

Extend is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Revenue & Risk Analytics team. You will develop data-driven strategies to scale and recover revenue, and translate analytical insights into business impact across cross-functional teams.

You’ll design end-to-end programs, improve risk coverage, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to turn analytics into product features that influence how the company makes money. This role is remote-first.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product data science or consulting with strategic impact.
• Strong foundations in experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and modeling.
• Experience collaborating with backend Product and Engineering on roadmaps.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, A/B testing, and GitHub; hands-on with Snowflake and dbt.
• Curious and business-focused, able to operate in a remote-first team.
• Collaborative and owns outcomes in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and identify revenue optimization and risk mitigation strategies across the revenue waterfall.
• Build narratives for Revenue to optimize and grow partnerships using data from testing and ML models.
• Influence product roadmap by testing ideas and presenting data-backed justifications to Product and Engineering.
• Own and refine data pipelines and tracking methodologies to uncover revenue opportunities.
• Set the standard for analytical thinking and excellence within the team.
