Affimr is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, build and scale data-driven services. You will own quarterly team goals, guide engineers through ambiguity, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics to deliver robust systems.

You will drive quality standards, participate in on-call work, and help grow talent through mentorship. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of backend experience in large-scale systems, strong proficiency with Python or Kotlin, and hands-on experience with AWS,

Qualificações

• 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Experience with highly available distributed systems and modern tech.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and drive architecture.
• Ownership mindset with proactive collaboration and feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team and lead through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics in lifecycle from ideation to delivery.
• Identify and solve project, process or technology issues and lead fixes.
• Maintain operations and on-call readiness for team artifacts and monitoring.
• Set and grow coding and design standards across the team.
• Develop talent by giving feedback and leading by example.
