Affimr is building data infrastructure for scalable checkout and analytics across the US. This role leads a backend team delivering reliable systems, partnering with product, design and analytics, and improving core platforms.

You will own delivery, write high-quality code, and drive architectural decisions. Ideal candidates have 4+ years building distributed services in Python or Kotlin, with hands-on AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes experience, plus exposure to Iceberg, Flink, Airflow, Spark, Kafka,

Competenze

• 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale in Python or Kotlin.
• Track record building highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes.
• Experience scaling Iceberg, Flink, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Terraform.
• Able to define a technical plan for delivering a major feature or system component.
• Demonstrated ability to make safe, large changes in a big codebase.
