Qualifications

• 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale
• Experience with highly available distributed systems
• Experience with technologies like Iceberg, Flink, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Terraform
• Ability to define a technical plan for a major feature or system component
• Proven track record of writing high quality, maintainable code
• Strong ownership, proactive feedback-seeking and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly goals for your team and guide engineers through ambiguity
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics across the lifecycle
• Identify and lead resolution of issues in projects, processes, or technology
• Maintain and monitor team artifacts with metrics and on-call readiness
• Set and advance code review and design standards across the team
• Develop talent by giving feedback and leading by example
