AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas, and establish robust DataOps practices.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work for the US without employer sponsorship
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Proficiency in Python, modular and well-tested code
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling in Snowflake
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing
• Experience with workflow orchestration engines (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
• REST API integration and event-driven data ingestion
• Data quality checks, data lineage, and alerting mechanisms
• DevOps/DataOps practices: Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC basics
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data
• Create and optimize Snowflake schemas for enterprise analytics
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources
• Maintain and expand workflow orchestration pipelines (Airflow/Prefect/Dagster)
• Implement data quality checks, lineage, and alerting
• Apply CI/CD and IaC practices to data repositories
• Write clean, well-documented Python code and enforce software engineering standards
