AgileEngine seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas, and implement DataOps practices with CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing.

The role emphasizes clean Python code, data reliability, and accessibility, with responsibilities spanning data ingestion from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources, plus robust data quality and observability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python fundamentals with modular, tested code.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries and modeling.
• Snowflake data warehousing experience.
• Workflow orchestration with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• REST APIs, event-driven ingestion, and batch pipelines.
• Data quality, lineage, and alerting implementations.
• Git-based version control, Docker, and CI/CD basics.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop Snowflake schemas for enterprise analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, events, and batch sources.
• Maintain orchestration pipelines with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• Implement automated data quality checks and lineage.
• Apply CI/CD and IaC basics to data repos.
• Write clear, well-tested Python code and docs.
