Job summary

AgileEngine in the United States seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale a modern data platform, building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing Snowflake schemas, and enforcing DataOps practices.

You will orchestrate workflows using Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, implement data quality and lineage frameworks, integrate third-party REST APIs and event-driven sources, and apply software engineering standards including CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing to data repositories.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Proficient in Python with modular, well-tested code
• Deep SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing
• Experience with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster
• REST APIs and streaming/batch ingestion experience
• Data quality checks and lineage implementation
• Git, Docker, CI/CD, and basic IaC familiarity
• Upper-intermediate English level

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming data
• Design Snowflake schemas for optimized analytics
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources
• Maintain and expand orchestration pipelines with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster
• Implement data quality, lineage, and alerting mechanisms
• Apply CI/CD, Git, Docker, and basic IaC practices to data repositories
• Ensure robust, well-documented data pipelines
