Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas, and establish robust DataOps practices.

Expect to orchestrate workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster and to apply CI/CD, Docker, and testing standards to data repositories. You will work on data quality, lineage, and observability while integrating third-party REST APIs and event-driven sources.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python fundamentals: modular, well-tested code.
• Advanced SQL with modeling and optimization.
• Hands-on Snowflake data warehousing experience.
• Workflow orchestration with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• Integrations with REST APIs and event-driven data.
• DevOps/DataOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
• Design Snowflake schemas for enterprise analytics (normalized and denormalized).
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources.
• Expand and maintain workflows using Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
