Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform, designing production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines and optimizing Snowflake schemas for enterprise analytics.

You will orchestrate workflows with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster, implement data quality and lineage frameworks, and apply CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing to data repositories. Strong Python coding and data reliability focus are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python Fundamentals: modular, well-tested Python code.
• Advanced SQL & Modeling: complex queries, design, normalization/denormalization.
• Data Warehousing: Snowflake experience.
• Workflow Orchestration: Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Integrations & Ingestion: REST APIs, event-driven streams.
• Data Quality & Lineage: automated tests, lineage, alerts.
• DevOps / DataOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC basics.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows.
• Design Snowflake schemas for performance and analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs and event streams.
• Expand workflow orchestration pipelines using Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• Implement automated data quality checks and lineage tooling.
• Apply CI/CD, Git, Docker, and IaC basics to data repos.
• Write clean, well-tested Python code and ensure data reliability.
