Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform. You will design ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas, and implement DataOps practices while maintaining production-grade Python code and CI/CD standards.

You will work with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, integrate REST APIs and streaming data, ensure data quality and observability, and collaborate with global teams to deliver reliable analytics for Fortune 500 brands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python fundamentals with modular, tested code.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Hands-on data warehousing experience in Snowflake.
• Production orchestration with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven data ingestion.
• Data quality, lineage, and alerting implementations.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Create production-ready Snowflake schemas for analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, events, and batch sources.
• Maintain and scale workflow pipelines with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• Implement data quality checks and lineage tracking.
• Apply CI/CD and IaC basics to data repositories.
