Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale a modern data platform. You will architect ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas for analytics, and implement DataOps practices. Expect collaboration across teams and a focus on testable Python code.

You will ingrain CI/CD, Docker, and IaC basics while integrating REST APIs and event streams. This role emphasizes data reliability, observability, and scalable data architectures within a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python Fundamentals with modular, well-tested code.
• Advanced SQL with performance tuning and data modeling.
• Hands-on Snowflake data warehousing experience.
• Experience with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• REST APIs and event-driven ingestion pipelines.
• Automated data quality checks and data lineage implementations.
• Git, Docker, CI/CD, and basic IaC practices.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
• Model and optimize Snowflake schemas for enterprise analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, events, and batch sources into core storage.
• Maintain and scale workflow orchestration pipelines with modern tools.
• Implement data quality checks, lineage, and alerting.
• Apply CI/CD and containerization to data repositories.
