Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake data warehouse schemas, and establish robust DataOps practices.

You will orchestrate workflows using Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, implement data quality and lineage frameworks, integrate REST APIs and event-driven sources, and apply software engineering standards including CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing to data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python fundamentals and well-tested code.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling in Snowflake.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow/Prefect/Dagster).
• Data quality checks and lineage practices.
• DevOps/DataOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD, basic IaC.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming data.
• Design Snowflake schemas for efficient enterprise analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources.
• Maintain and expand orchestration pipelines with modern tools.
• Implement automated data quality checks, lineage tracking, and alerts.
• Adopt CI/CD and IaC basics; manage code with Git and Docker.
• Write clear, well-documented Python code and tests.
