Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas, and establish robust DataOps practices.

Work with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster and apply CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing to data repositories. The role emphasizes clean, well-tested Python code, data reliability, and accessibility, with the opportunity to influence enterprise analytics across Fortune 500 brands and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python fundamentals: modular, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries, design, normalization/denormalization.
• Experience building/managing Snowflake data warehouses.
• Production experience with data orchestration engines (Airflow/Prefect/Dagster).
• Ingestion from REST APIs and event streams (batch/streaming).
• Data quality checks, data lineage, and alerting (dbt test, Great Expectations).
• Git, Docker, CI/CD, and basic IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows across batch and streaming data.
• Design Snowflake schemas for production analytics and performance.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources into core storage.
• Maintain and expand workflow pipelines with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
