Job summary

AgileEngine seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake data warehouses, and establish DataOps practices.

Expect to orchestrate workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, ensure data quality, and implement CI/CD and containerization with Docker. You'll work across data ingestion, modeling, and analytics to deliver reliable data for Fortune 500 brands and startups.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Core Python fundamentals: modular, well-tested Python code.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling.
• Data warehousing experience with Snowflake.
• Workflow orchestration with Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• REST APIs and event-driven data ingestion.
• Data quality, lineage, and alerting.
• DevOps / DataOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC basics.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows.
• Data Warehousing & Modeling: Design production-ready Snowflake schemas for analytics.
• API & Event Integration: Ingest data from REST APIs and event streams.
• Orchestration: Expand workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Data Quality & Observability: Implement automated tests, lineage, and alerts.
• DataOps & Engineering Standards: Apply CI/CD, Git, Docker, and basic IaC.
• Code Excellence: Write clean, well-documented Python code with good testing.
