Job summary

AgileEngine is a leading software services provider delivering data-driven solutions to Fortune 500 brands and innovative startups. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform with production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, Snowflake data warehousing, and robust DataOps practices.

You will design and optimize data pipelines, ingests data from REST APIs and event streams, and implement data quality, lineage, and CI/CD standards to ensure reliable analytics

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Strong Python (OOP/functional) and test-driven development.
Advanced SQL and data modeling skills for Snowflake.
Hands-on data warehousing and schema design.
Experience with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Git workflows.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows.
Develop Snowflake schemas to optimize analytics.
Ingest data from REST APIs and event streams.
Maintain workflow orchestration pipelines.
Implement data quality checks and lineage.
Apply DataOps practices with CI/CD and IaC basics.
Write clean, well-tested Python code and documentation.
