Job summary

BECU seeks a Senior Data Engineer in Tukwila, WA to design and build enterprise-grade data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. You will collaborate across teams to enable analytics, governance, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL/Java/Scala skills, and hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery. Some remote work options are available for eligible locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of functional experience in data engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in coding languages like Python, Scala, Java, SQL.
• Demonstrated experience using cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Demonstrated experience with modern data platforms.
